Global Corruption Report 2005

Transparency International released the Global Corruption Report for 2005. Kuwait came in at 44 overall in the latest Corruption Perceptions Index. Finland was first, while Bangladesh and Haiti tied for 145th.

You're absolutely right. The thing that grabbed my attention is how Bangladesh sits at the bottom of the list, and how some of its citizens are putting it at the top of the crime perpetrators list in the GCC. Maybe a corrupt environment facilitates corruption amongst citizens! And maybe bad working conditions facilitates crime too. More research is needed but who cares enough to do it? Not many...
